Sic Bo Layout

Although at first, the sic bo layout may appear to be complicated, it is, in fact, rather simple. Similar to a craps table or a roulette table, the betting options available on the sic bo layout are, rather obviously, made up of the various combinations that you can roll with the three dice used in the game. These combinations and their payouts are represented on the gaming table and organized into four basic rows. Players of the game wager on as many of the represented combinations as they desire, and after each shake of the dice, the outcome is displayed on the layout via lights under the table that light up any winning combinations. Below you will find an actual sic bo layout, as well as a run down of where the different bets are on this layout.

Sic Bo Layout Picture

First Row: Single Number Bets
The first row from the bottom has the single number bets, so called because you bet on any of the six dice numbers coming up on the next roll.

Second Row: Two Number Combination Bets
The second row from the bottom has the two number combination bets represented. Here, you bet on two number dice combinations.

Third Row: Three Number Total Bets
The third row from the bottom on the sic bo layout represents what are known as the three number total bets. For these bets, you are betting on the total sum of the numbers on the next roll. You cannot bet on three or eighteen, which will see your bet lose if you bet on any of the three number total bets.

Fourth Row: Triple and Pair Bets, Big and Small Bets
The very top row of the sic bo layout has the triple and pair bets as well as the big and small bets. You can bet on any specific set of triples coming up on the next row, any specific set of pairs, or you can bet that any triple will come up (known as the any triple bet). The big and small bets, found in the left and right corners of the sic bo layout, entail betting on whether the total sum of the next dice roll will be between four and ten (the small bet) or eleven and seventeen (the big bet).
